Shûwb - The Heart of Our Ministry

Definition:The word "Shûwb" comes from the Hebrew language, meaning "to return", to turn back, to be returned, be restored, be brought back." It reflects the central theme of our ministry - the call to return to God, to turn our hearts back to Him, and to experience the life-changing impact of His presence.

Jeremiah 24:7: This foundational verse emphasizes God's promise to give people a heart to know Him. As they return to Him with their whole heart, they become His people, and He becomes their God. Shûwb 24:7 Ministries is dedicated to facilitating this return, creating an environment where individuals can deepen their knowledge of God and cultivate a genuine relationship with Him.

Our Logo

We asked the Holy Spirit to inspire the creation of our ministry's logo, including the font used, and we want to share its meaning with you.

The Silver/Gray cross: In the Bible, the cross represents the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and symbolizes sacrifice, redemption, and salvation. The New Testament highlights the importance of Jesus' death on the cross as the atonement for the sins of humanity, providing believers with the opportunity for eternal life. Silver/Gray represents redemption, holiness, glory, refinement and wealth, and wisdom. Psalm 66:10, Isaiah 48:10, 2 Chronicles 2:7, Proverbs 16:31.

The Road: The road represents the path to returning to Jesus. It involves a personal journey of faith, repentance, and following Jesus Christ. It requires turning away from sin, seeking forgiveness, and embracing a life that aligns with Biblical principles, ultimately leading to a closer relationship with Jesus and a commitment to living for Him. This also means submitting one's life to His will.

The Purple Heart: In the Bible, purple is often associated with royalty, wealth, and extravagance. It was a color worn by kings and nobles and was considered a symbol of high status. For example, in the book of Judges, the wealthy and powerful are described as having "purple clothes" (Judges 8:26). Additionally, in the New Testament, the Roman soldiers placed a purple robe on Jesus to mock his claim to kingship (John 19:2-3). Therefore, purple carries connotations of regality, luxury, and honor in the biblical context.

The Blue Flame: often symbolizing divine revelation, is the hottest and most intense part of a fire. The color blue represents the Holy Spirit and an open Heaven.

The font used for our ministry name "Shûwb 24:7" is "Please Write Me a Song," while the Bible verse from Jeremiah 24:7 is in "Papyrus." Papyrus was a material used in ancient times for writing, including the writing of the Bible. It was made from the pith of the papyrus plant and was commonly used in the Mediterranean region. The Bible was originally written on papyrus scrolls, which were then copied and preserved over the centuries. The use of papyrus in the Bible reflects the historical context in which the biblical texts were written and preserved.
